I am a warrior!
Angie and I ran together in the Warrior Dash this weekend out in North Plains, OR. This was our first obstacle course race that we’d participated in. It was totally a blast and I can’t wait to do this race again next year.
We had so much mud in every crevice I’m sure we’ll still be finding it for weeks to come no matter how cleanly we are. The obstacle that contributed the most mud was the last where you needed to “army crawl” under barbed wire. There was only one string of barbed wire at the front, but crawl we did. I found it was easier to pull myself through the mud, while laying flat, with my arms.
All of the obstacles were great and I’m having a hard time picking out the best, and I can’t say that there was a worst since they were all fun.
I’m totally looking forward to this, and the similar races, next year.
